Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Fleischer

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / wbk Institute of Production Science

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Fleischer is the director of Machines, Equipment and Process Automation of wbk Institute of Production Science. His fields of research and work include Mechatronic modules / components for machine tools and handling systems, Automated systems for lightweight structures made from lightmetal and composite fiber materials, Automation of manufacturing of Li-Ion batteries and electric drives.




Prof. Weimin Zhang

Tongji University / School of Mechanical Engineering (SME)

Dr. Zhang Weimin, Ph.D., is a professor of Tongji University, director of Institute of Modern Manufacturing Technology, Professor of Production System and Manufacturing Technology, Sino-German College of Tongji University. He is mainly engaged in the teaching and research work of mechanical design, manufacturing and automation. The research direction is manufacturing system and automation, unit manufacturing and its control technology, metal cutting machine tool and processing technology. He has presided over a number of national science and technology major projects and published dozens of academic papers.

Prof. Junying Min

Tongji University / School of Mechanical Engineering (SME)

Dr. Min is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Tongji University. He is currently the Vice President of the School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering of Tongji University and the Deputy Director of the Sino-German Mechanical Engineering Center. He is an editor / editorial board members of several domestic and foreign journals, and reviewers of more than ten SCI journals. He presided over more than 30 national key R & D projects ( project chief scientist ), national natural science fund projects, international cooperation projects, school-enterprise cooperation projects, etc.. Hehas published more than 150 papers in international journals such as IJP, JMPT and IJMS ; authorized more than 10 invention patents; he has made more than 50 reports at important academic conferences at home and abroad.




Dr.-Ing. Christopher Ehrmann

Tongji University / School of Mechanical Engineering (SME)

After graduating in Mechatronics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, he worked as a Doctoral research associate in the field of condition monitoring of machine tools under supervision of Prof. Fleischer at wbk of KIT. In 2017, he became group leader for industrial projects at the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center of SME, a Sino-German collaboration between wbk and Tongji University. During this time, he worked on numerous industrial and joint research projects, most notably he was the project leader for the German consortium of the I4TP project, the largest Sino-German joint research project in the field of production science. Since 2021 he is a foreign expert and assistant professor in the field of Smart Production at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tongji University. His research interests include Machine Tools, Automation, Control Systems, Industrial Communication Networks.
